Being a Music Producer: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Being a music producer is not always easy and can take me out of my comfort zone. On most days I’m usually in the office by 7:30 a.m., and I spend the rest of the day working on up to fifteen projects in various genres. Each of those fifteen requires research into the industry trends to make sure they are a hit. And if I get pushback from an artist unwilling to change anything, that is frustrating too. At the end of the day, I will have used all my skills to flex my creativity and create music.
It's All Worth It
And yet, I love what I do. I enjoy helping other artists develop their style and reach their full potential. One of my greatest pleasures is taking a simple tune and creating a composition from scratch. I have been producing music since 1998, and I can’t see myself doing anything differently.
